First trip on the plastic fantastic A350. ATL-ICN. 14.5 hours. Good times.
My suite.

That looks more comfortable than any memory I have of flying that is less than 20 years old. Safe travels.

I dig the raccoon face. There is a long discussion on Airliners.net, and some disagreement over whether it’s black just for looks or for a purpose, and whether carriers can opt to paint it whatever color they want. Do you know?
We saw a Delta A350 at LAX. It’s a sexy plane.

They put it on the new A330s as well. Not sure if it is a requirement of some sort, but I can find out.

It should be pretty good.

I’m wondering if Air Canada will get any before I go to the UK.

Maybe the contrast makes checking the bolts holding the windows easier to check

Back in the ‘70s it was pretty common to do some flat black under the cockpit windows in order to minimize glare into the cockpit.

How comfy was the seat as a bed?

Nope

Probably not. Torque checks don’t rely on visual contrast.

It was pretty good. wider than our 767 seats so I had room for my shoulders. It was pretty firm though so my hips got sore after being in one position for a while. I still got a good 8 hrs of sleep, so no complaints.

I don't think this really applies to the A350 since it doesn't really extend down onto the nose of the aircraft.
